Description: Changes in forest cover have the potential to cause hydrological effects in watersheds. In this context, the project aims to assess the influence of deforestation on the hydrological regime of basins in the Amazon, explaining changes already detected in the last decades of human intervention. In addition, the study aims to analyze the hydrological responsiveness of the basins in relation to deforestation and the precipitation regime through hydrological modeling. Finally, it is intended to estimate the future change in annual runoff in relation to different land use scenarios, taking into account climate change projections.
