He holds a degree in Forest Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2003), a degree in Licentiate in Agricultural Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2003), a Master's in Forest Sciences [Esalq] from the University of São Paulo (2007) and a PhD in Forest Resources [ Esalq] from the University of São Paulo (2017). He works mainly on the following topics: forest hydrology, monitoring of forest microbasins, watershed management, forest roads and erosion.
